"Minorisa" is the third album from the Spanish band Fusioon, released in October 1975 under the Ariola label. This Barcelona-based quartet consists of Manuel Camp, Jordi Camp, Santi Arisa, and Martin Brunet, who contribute a blend of rock, jazz, and progressive rock influences. The album was recorded in Madrid and features three extended tracks that deviate from the conventional song format.

Musical Composition

The album opens with "Ebusus," a suite that spans nearly 19 minutes. Written by keyboardist Manuel Camp, this piece incorporates folk melodies from Ibiza and Menorca, reflecting the cultural heritage of the region. "Ebusus" is the ancient name for Ibiza, providing a thematic connection to the music. The closing track, "Minorisa," also a suite by Camp, follows this same pattern, showcasing his compositional style. Sandwiched between these two longer works is "Llaves Del Subconsciente," written by guitarist Martin Brunet. This track is divided into two parts, "Mente" and "Cerebro," allowing for a varied listening experience.

Band Members and Production

Fusioon's lineup features Jordi Camp on bass and vocals, who also provides the lyrics for the album. Santi Arisa plays drums, flute, and vocals, while Martin Brunet handles guitar, vocals, and synthesizer duties. Manuel Camp, apart from composing the majority of the music, plays piano, electric piano, synthesizer (Moog), organ, and Mellotron. The album was self-produced by the band, with engineering by Enrique Rielo Mingo. The visual aspects of the album were designed by Guillem Paris, and photography was done by Josep Arpa.
