Introduction to Munju

Munju, a progressive jazz-rock and Krautrock fusion band, emerged from Würzburg, Germany, in 1976. The group was formed by alto saxophonist and flutist Jürgen Benz after his departure from the band Missus Beastly. Joining him were guitarist Dieter Kaudel, bassist Wolfgang Salomon, and drummer Thomas Römer. They were also accompanied by conga player Joseph Spector on select tracks.
