The recording session also featured a broad array of supporting musicians, including multiple flutists, oboists, clarinetists, and a bassoonist, which enriched the album's sound. Taisto Wesslin added acoustic guitar to the mix, enhancing the textural layers of the music.

Opening with "Proletarian," the songs delve into various themes, with "Pedagogue" extending to a lengthy 9 minutes and 28 seconds, showcasing the band’s progressive style. "Planetist," featuring a Mini-Moog synthesizer played by Pekka Pohjola, exemplifies the fusion of rock and electronic elements, while "Pride Of The Biosphere" introduces a piano interlude that adds depth to the musical conversation. "Being" garnered attention both in Finland and internationally, eventually catching the interest of Virgin Records in the UK. Despite the positive reception, this album marked the last collaboration for some key members of the band. Both Jukka Gustavson and Pekka Pohjola departed from Wigwam shortly after the album's release, leading to a shift in the band's direction.

The album was produced by Mans Groundstroem and the band itself, with engineering contributions from Erkki Hyvonen, Harri Bergman, Mans Groundstroem, and Paul Jyrala. The cover artwork was designed by Jorma Auersalo, while Jukka Gustavson also played a crucial role in the album's visual presentation.
