Recording Details

The majority of "Still Life" was recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales between January 12 and 25, 1976. However, two tracks, "Pilgrims" and "La Rossa," were recorded earlier in June 1975 during the "Godbluff" sessions. This album features contributions from all band members, including Peter Hammill, who is responsible for vocals and guitar, and David Jackson, who plays various types of saxophones and flute. Guy Evans provides the drums and percussion, while Hugh Banton plays guitar, organ, piano, and bass pedals.
