Dreptul De A Visa
Progresiv TM is a rock band that emerged from Timisoara, Romania. They were active during the 1970s and gained attention for their unique blend of rock styles. Their debut album, "Dreptul de a visa" (The Right to Dream), was released in 1976 under the state label Electrecord. This release marked an important moment in the Romanian rock scene.
The band's sound is characterized by a combination of power-trio rock elements and rich vocal harmonies, enhanced by the inclusion of flute passages. Their music draws inspiration from various Western rock bands, notably Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, and Uriah Heep. Lead guitar duties were handled by Ladislau Herdina, who also provided vocals. The production was overseen by Iulia Maria Cristea, with engineering by Theodor Negrescu. The album's visual presentation was crafted by Valeriu Sepi, adding an additional layer of creativity to the release.
