Released in 1973, "Inside" is the second studio album by the German band Eloy. This album marked their debut with EMI's Harvest label. It represents a distinct shift in their musical direction, moving away from hard rock towards psychedelic space rock and progressive rock. The recording took place at Studio Maschen in Hamburg, Germany.

Lineup and Musical Composition

The album features Frank Bornemann as the lead vocalist and guitarist. His contributions are complemented by Manfred Wieczorke, who plays the Hammond organ and electric guitar. Wolfgang Stöcker handles the bass guitar, while Fritz Randow, who later performed with bands like Jane and Saxon, plays drums and flute. This lineup is crucial to the album's sound, with the swirling organ and dynamic guitar work creating an immersive listening experience.

The first side of the album is dominated by the extensive track "Land Of No Body," which runs 17 minutes and 14 seconds. This piece showcases hypnotic grooves and heavy fuzz guitar riffs, interspersed with soaring organ solos. It is a prime example of Eloy's ability to blend progressive rock elements with a spacey atmosphere.
