This album marks an important transition in the band's lineup, as it is the first to feature bassist and trombonist Ares Tavolazzi. He replaced founding bassist Patrick Djivas after the band's engagements in 1973, which included a tour of Chile and a performance at the eighth Paris Biennale festival.
