"Operation" is the second studio album by the German rock band Birth Control, released in May 1971 on the Ohr label. This record, catalog number OMM 56015, follows their self-titled debut and continues to explore their unique sound within the Krautrock and progressive rock genres. The album was recorded at Ariola Studio in Berlin during February 1971 and is produced by Didi Zill.

Musical Composition

Birth Control expanded their sonic palette by incorporating a nine-piece string section and a small brass section, enriching the texture of their music.
