In 1971, the British-Irish progressive jazz-rock trio Stud released their self-titled debut album under the Deram label. Formed from the remnants of the blues-rock band Taste, Stud consists of guitarist and vocalist Jim Cregan, bassist Richard "Charlie" McCracken, and drummer John Wilson. Each member brought a wealth of experience from their previous musical endeavors.
