The album features six tracks that highlight the band's progressive rock roots. The sound is characterized by intricate keyboard orchestrations primarily performed by Peter "Memory" Banks. His work includes fiery Minimoog solos, dynamic Hammond organ passages, and lush strings from the Crumar Multiman. Andy Piercy's lead vocals often draw comparisons to Peter Gabriel and Fish, adding an emotional depth to the compositions.

Among the standout tracks is the 7-minute "Dance Of The Marionette," which showcases complex time signatures and dramatic shifts. The title track, "Signs Of Change," stretches over eight minutes and features expansive arrangements.
