Recording and Production

"Future Days" was recorded at Inner Space Studio in Weilerswist, near Cologne, Germany. The band members included Kenji "Damo" Suzuki on vocals and percussion, Holger Czukay on bass guitar and tape editing, Michael Karoli on electric and acoustic guitars and violin, Jaki Liebezeit on drums and percussion, and Irmin Schmidt on keyboards and synthesizers. The album was produced by Can, with recording engineers Chris Sladdin and Volker Liedtke contributing to the sound. The cover art was designed by Ingo Trauer and Richard J. Rudow, featuring the Greek psi symbol along with embossed gold lettering.
