Lied Cu Fluturi
Savoy is a Romanian band that originated in Bucharest in 1963. Initially known as "Stelele" and later "Stelele 23," the group evolved its name to Savoy. The band was founded by composer and arranger Marian Nistor, who played a critical role in shaping its sound. Over the years, Savoy became known for blending various genres, including rock, folk rock, and progressive rock.

The lyrics were penned by Ion Lotreanu, while the majority of the music was composed by Marian Nistor, with a contribution from Ionel Orban.
The album opens with "Raspuns Cu Iubire," an engaging track that sets the tone for the rest of the record. Following tracks like "Elegie" and "La Voievozi Cu Gindul" showcase the band's ability to weave intricate melodies with thoughtful lyrics. The use of traditional instruments, such as the panpipes (nai) played by Nistor, enriches the sound and provides a distinct Romanian flair. The album also features various vocal arrangements, enhancing its folk rock essence.
The lineup for "Lied Cu Fluturi" includes several talented musicians. Ionel Samoila plays bass guitar and mandolin while also contributing vocals. Marian Nistor, besides his role as conductor and guitarist, showcases his skills on the panpipes and provides vocals.
