Released in 1980, "In The Night" (魅惑劇 / 星降る夜のおとぎ話) is the second album by the Japanese progressive rock band Novela. This album was issued under the Nexus label of King Records, catalog number K26P-30. Novela was formed from the fusion of two earlier progressive groups, Scheherazade and Mountain Stream. The band consisted of lead vocalist Hisao "Angie" Sasaki, guitarists Terutsugu Hirayama and Motoshi Yamazaki, keyboardist Toshio Eigawa, bassist Ryuji Sasai, and drummer Eijiro Akita.

Musical Composition

"In The Night" features a blend of symphonic rock, hard rock, and heavy metal elements. The tracks present a dynamic interplay between dramatic vocal performances and intricate instrumentation.
