Shylock, a French progressive rock trio, released their debut album "Gialorgues" in December 1976. This album was self-released on their Gialorgues Music label before being reissued by CBS in 1977. The recording took place in the scenic Gialorgues valley of the French Alps, specifically in a church in Saint-Dalmas-le-Selvage, where the band rehearsed extensively.
