The band was formed by a collective of Canadian musicians residing in Germany. The lineup includes Mike Lewis on electric piano, Hammond organ, percussion, and lead vocals. Lewis had previously collaborated with the influential producer Conny Plank on an avant-garde project called Wired. Other members are Tommy Graham, who played electric and acoustic guitars, percussion, and provided vocals; John Morton on bass guitar and vocals; and Brother Josh, also known as Peter Collins, who played drums, Indian tabla, percussion, and contributed vocals.
