No Compromise is the fourth studio album by the multinational progressive jazz-rock and Krautrock ensemble Emergency. Released in 1974 on the Brain label, this album features a blend of jazz, rock, funk, and soul elements. It was recorded at Dierks Studios in Stommeln, Germany, between March 12 and March 17 of the same year.

Production and Band Lineup

The album's production was a collaborative effort involving Hanus Berka, Peter Bischof, Frank Diez, and Veit Marvos. The lyrics were penned by Richard Palmer-James, known for his work with King Crimson and Supertramp. The band consisted of Hanus Berka on electric saxophone, saxophones, flute, and Mellotron; Frank Diez on both electric and acoustic guitars as well as bass; Peter Bischof on lead vocals and percussion; Veit Marvos on keyboards and synthesizers; Yerzy Ziembrowski on bass; and Todd Canedy on drums and Moog bongos. Notably, Donna Summer and Roberta Kelly provided guest backing vocals on the track "Hideaway."
