Geoff Leigh contributes saxophone and concert flute, having later co-founded the avant-garde group Henry Cow. The rhythm section is anchored by Martin Harrison on drums and percussion.

Don Gould provided string arrangements for select tracks, adding depth to the soundscape of the album. The production was overseen by Roger Watson, with sound engineering by David Grinsted and John Burns. The album cover photography was done by Daniel Volpeliere-Pièrrot.

This incident rendered the original pressings highly sought after and among the rarest items in the Deram catalog. Collectors often regard it as a hidden gem within the acid folk and progressive rock genres.
