Band and Concept

The album is named after the Gut Wintrup manor, located in the Teutoburg Forest near Altenbeken. This was a communal living and working space for the band members, providing a creative retreat. The lineup during this period consisted of Hellmut Hattler on bass guitar and vocals, Peter Wolbrandt on electric and acoustic guitars and vocals, Jan Fride Wolbrandt on drums and congas, and Johannes "Alto" Pappert on alto saxophone and percussion.
